Spring Weight Restriction Regulations are made under subsection 20(1) of the Public Highways Act R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 371
N.S. Reg. 31/2018 (effective during period ordered by Minister or Minister’s designate) as amended to N.S. Reg. 34/2020 (effective February 28, 2020)
(forestry contractors were encouraged to apply for a special move permit if they were looking to move wood or forestry equipment over short distances as a measure to help keep people in the forestry sector working.)
